Introduction:

Wipro has a robust security management system complying with international security norms and standards of highest order with manpower, technology and process. We accordingly are in the process of creation of a core security team comprising of Physical Security and Surveillance. Presently, we have Corporate and Location security functions headed by competent and experienced professionals at Bangalore, Pune, Kochi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Greater Noida, Gurgaon, Kolkata and Bhubaneswar.

With a view to expanding its scope, Wipro invites applications from young, dynamic and self-motivated Graduates with NCC "C" Certificate to be part of one of the fastest growing security services

Specifications::

Team: Physical Security
Requirement: Shift Executive
No. of positions: 20
Expected date of recruitement: 15th December 2010
Qualification: Graduate + NCC “C” Certificate
Experience level: 0 - 3 yrs
Age: 20 - 26 years
Height: 170 cm for male candidates; 165 cm for female candidates

Job Description

  1. Reporting in to the Location Security Manager (LSM) and operating in shifts as assigned by the LSM.
  2. Responsible for the effective management of the integrated Physical Security Guard force.
  3. The following domains under physical security operations are under the charter of Shift Executive
  • Guard Force Management
  • Access Control system
  • Security Operation Centre
  • Investigation
  • Visitor Management
  • Upkeep of Security equipments through vendors
  • Emergency Management
  • Material Movement
  • Vendor Management
  • Parking Management
  4.Coordinating with the peer functions to ensure smooth functioning of Security operations and equipments
Preparing and handling audits and timely closure of observations.
 5.Conducting surprise Audits in the Area of responsibility and escalate findings to the department heads.
 6.Identifying vulnerabilities and threats to Key Assets and share the risks foreseen to LSM.
 7.Ensuring the SLA compliance for No Dues Clearances for employees on separation.
8.Initiation of SITREP (Situation Report) and timely reports & Returns.
 9.Undertaking other duties as can reasonably be expected which are commensurate with the role.
10.Approving the bills on MOS (Manpower Outsourcing) and other maintenance bills for correctness before producing the same for LSM’s approval.
