ePass fresh online application registrations started from 02-11-2011 to 21-11-2011

Online fresh registrations for scholarships to students pursuing college courses for the academic year 2011-12 will commence from 02-11-2011 to 21-11-2011. The scholarship process has been made fully online by the Social Welfare Department. Under the online system, no student can enter his name, Student records will be fetched from SSC / Inter servers based on the application / SSC ID. For the academic year 2011-12, students can apply online for fresh scholarships on the e-pass website from 02-11-2011 to 21-11-2011. All students belonging to SC / ST with family income of less than Rs.2.00 lakh per annum & BC students belonging to BC / EBC / DW / MW with family income of less than Rs.1.00 lakh per annum are eligible to apply for scholarships. Vide reference second to fourth cited above, all students shall submit an income declaration form to the MRO to obtain an income certificate.
The following is the procedure for online registration for fresh students:
1. Students will be eligible for a scholarship as per the instructions given in the reference first & fifth cited.
2. The application for scholarship is valid only for the current year 2011-12 only.
3. Students (other than minorities) must visit the e-pass website at http://epass.cgg.gov.in. to apply for a scholarship. All minority students including BC E (Muslims) shall apply in the website www.apsmfc.com.
4. Students can access the application form by entering the SSC ID & year of passing.
5. Students who are already enrolled in Intermediate colleges have to enter SSC/ equivalent ID , upon entering the data the college/ course details will be populated from Board of Intermediate server.
6. Students who have not registered for the scholarship will not be eligible to make a claim later.
7. Students who are registering for the first time, regardless of the year of study in a course will be considered as a fresh applicant for scholarship.
8. The application for scholarship does not automatically entitle a student for scholarship. Sanction of a scholarship is subject to eligibility as per reference cited above & successful verification of the student.
9. Students who have been granted GATE / GPAT / JRF / SRF / other stipends / fellowships scholarship fellowship are not eligible to apply for a scholarship under this scheme.
10. The Maximum eligible age as on the date of 1.7.2011 for the various courses are given as under for obtaining a scholarship:
Level of study EBC/Minorities/ Disabled as on 01-07-2011 SC,ST & BC as on 1-07-2011
Intermediate 20 years 24 years
Graduate 25 years 29 years
PG & above 30 years 34 years

11. Students, who are entering the ePASS website for the first time, should have bank accounts for submitting the online application form. The account number / IFSC code if not entered correctly will lead to Non receipt of funds.

12. Students who are already registered with ePASS can continue with the same account number or can opt for a new account number. In case of a change in the number they shall make a specifically mention in the application form. .

13. The following documents are required to apply for a scholarship and they have to be submitted, along with hard copy of application form, to the concerned Principal of the college.
a) SSC ID (Hall Ticket) Number to access the application.
b) Board of Intermediate Hall Ticket number where applicable.
c) CET (Common Entrance Test) number in case of professional courses.
d) Caste Certificate.
e) Income Certificate (vide reference 2nd , 3rd and 4th cited)
f) The following documents must be scanned & uploaded on the website.
I. Caste Certificate.
II. Income Certificate (vide reference 2nd , 3rd and 4th cited)
III. Latest photograph.

IV. Savings bank account number in the name of the student and joint account for students below 18 years i.e. in name of student and parent (The first page of the pass book showing name, account number & IFSC Code must be scanned & uploaded)
V. CET/ M Tech/ ME/ M Pharmacy/ M Arch/ M Phil/ Ph.D etc allotment order
14. Further the following fields are mandatory in the online application form--
a) E-mail account.
b) Mobile Number (either in Student / Parent / Relatives Number)
c) Bank account no of any scheduled bank having online facility, with correct IFSC code.
All Welfare departments shall give wide publicity on the registration process for fresh scholarships and ensure that the registration process will be completed by 21-11-2011.

ePass Renewal Application Registration 2011-2012

Post Matric Scholarships will be drawn on the ePass website http://epass.cgg.gov.in all students who have been promoted to the next year by the college are eligible to apply. They shall register for renewal of scholarship by logging into their accounts on the ePass website and furnish the following information.
1) Income affidavit to be scanned and uploaded. (INCOME AFFIDAVIT IN Rs.10/- NON JUDICIAL STAMP PAPER DULY SIGNED BY RENEWAL STUDENT AND PARENT. NOTARY NOT REQUIRED).
2) Marks copy of the final exam to be scanned and uploaded.
3) Details of mobile phone to be furnished, students are encouraged to give their own mobile, if they do not have a mobile they shall give their parents and cloggiest relatives mobile number so that they can get SMS from the ePass website through the bank.
4) Students must confirm the bank account shown on the website.
5) Students shall enter the Ration Card number.
6) Where students have been allotted an Aadhaar Card or UID number they shall furnish the details of the number.
7) Students must confirm if they are continuing the same college and in the same course.
8) All students are advised that if the information given above is not furnished such of those students will not be eligible for renewal of scholarships and application will be summarily rejected.
9) Students are requested to ensure that the furnish all the details and complete the renewal by 31-07-2011.
These instructions may be scrupulously followed and wide publicity may be given by Welfare Officers and District Collectors in all public meetings, review meetings, press and media, briefing etc., so that the students can be encourage to complete their renewals from 1st July to 31st July, 2011.

Epass fresh and new scholarship registering date extended up to December 22, Apsmfc last date 31 December

Ap state government extended the epass last date for registering fresh scholarships for the academic year 2010-2011 up to December 22.
Still large number of application submission in pending, government decided to provide a final opportunity to students. Those who wish to register for scholarships must visit e-PASS website at http://epass.cgg.gov.in and furnish details.

All college managements have been requested to ensure that students complete the registrations by college principals by December 22.
Process of renewal of registration came to a close on 15-12-2010 and that verification of renewals would be done by college principals from December 16 to 31.
The A.P. State Minorities Finance Corporation has extended the last date for submission of online applications for sanctions of fresh post matric scholarships and reimbursement of tuition fee up to December 31. Requests made by students and college managements to extend the date in view of the heavy rains and delay in getting income certificates.

ePass- 50% fresh students waiting for ePass fresh application submissions

epass is not working  and there is no way to get out, unless last date extends....Last Date because more than

40% Students not submitted their Post matric Scholarship &fee reimbursement ePass Online Application.
ePass Fresh Application more data entry than renewal application and caste and Income certificates uploads also.
Surprisingly Government gave 55 days from 21st October to 15th December for filling simple renewal application,but only 25 days for most Complicated Fresh Application.
As per Last year Experiences,we are expecting date extension for minimum 5 to 10 days from the last days announced till now .Decision on ePass Last date announcement will be out Tomorrow.

ePass Guidelines for Fresh Scholarship Applications

Compulsory Prerequisites :
Compulsory Prerequisites :
1. Scanned image of Passport Photograph of size less than 30KB.
2. Student's own Email Id (If already not available create new e-mail id with any of free email service providers like yahoo, gmail, rediff, etc.)
3. Mobile Number for SMS alerts.
4. SSC or equivalent examination hall ticket / roll number or scholarship application no. of 2009
5. Caste Certificate (Scanned Image of size less than 100 KB in *.jpg format.
6. Income Certificate (Scanned Image of size less than 100 KB in *.jpg format.
The entire above mentioned list is necessary for Fresh Scholarship Registration. If any one of the above is not ready don’t start filling the form.
Important Note
1 If the Student get message "Inter Details Not Found . Your Application cannot be Processed" ,they should select Passed out Intermediate -'No' and proceed further submission of application.
2 If the student get message “Your Application Is already available for Renewal”. They should apply Renewal Application ,select change college request and select the new college and new course. it can be proceed later.

Students whose SSC or Equivalent details and Intermediate details not available have to consult the concerned District Welfare Officers with original SSC or Equivalent Certificates for entry of their details.After entry of SSC details by the District Welfare Officer student can register his Application Form.
1. Students who got admission through Counseling in Convener Quota in Professional Courses are only eligible to apply in such courses. Students admitted under spot admissions and management quota are not eligible for post matric scholarships.
2. After filling up the application online in complete shape, take the printout and submit the same along with all necessary enclosures in the College.
3. Please provide your Ration Card Number if available (not compulsory) in the online application form
4. Students perusing the same level of courses twice are not eligible.
5. Renewal students of 2009-10 (The students who are registered in 2009 and continuing the study in the same course) are not eligible for Fresh registration in 2010-11. They must register as renewal only
6. Obtain the latest income (after 10-10-2010) certificate in the new format prescribed by Revenue department. Scan it and upload. The size of the image should be less than 100 KB. Enter the details of income in the fields provided.
7. Obtain the Caste certificate from MRO (Mandal Revenue Officer) in the format prescribed by Revenue department. Scan it and upload. The size of the image should be less than 100 KB and in *.jpg format. Enter the details of caste certificate in the fields provided
8. The students with scholarship type College Attached or Department Attached Hostel are informed that the mess charges are credited to college hostel / department hostel bank accounts. The Exam Fee is credited to student bank account in the new online process.
9. The Addition/Modification of data is not possible after clicking on confirm or submit. Addition/Modification in data can be done only at college/field officer/district officer level.
10. Upload the scanned image of the passport size colour photograph of width 3.5 cm and height 4.5 cm in .jpg format and the size of file should be below 30 KB.
11. If any change of college, course , course year is required after submission can be made at college level.
12. EBC students pursuing Intermediate courses are not eligible for Scholarships.
13. If the students not having bank account number on his name, ePASS will give SBI eZ pay cards after verification by the field officer. Students need not open any bank account.
14. EBC students pursuing Intermediate courses are not eligible for Scholarships.
15. The students pursuing open university studies and distant learning are not eligible for scholarships.
16. The UID (Unique Identity) Number or AADHAR number is a 12 digit numeral and issued by UIDA (Unique Identification Authority of India). It is not compulsory. If you are not having or not aware of this, leave the field empty, don’t enter anything.
17. If the wrong photograph is uploaded, the correct photograph can be replaced at college level. The same is applicable for Income certificate and Caste certificate uploads also
18.

* Scan the latest passport size colour photograph of width 3.5 cm. and height 4.5 cm.
* The entire image (of size width 3.5 cm. and height 4.5 cm.) consisting of the photo is required to be scanned and stored in *.jpg format on Local machine.
* Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 30KB.
* If the size of the file is more than 30 KB, then adjust the settings of the Scanner such as the dpi resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of Scanning.

* Size of the file < 30 KB
* Dpi setting = 200 dpi
* True Colour
* Height of photograph 4.5 cm and width of photograph 3.5 cm (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm)

Note: The entitlement of scholarship reimbursement is subjected to the correctness of the data after thorough verification by college, field officer, district officer etc. as per the rules and regulations. Mere submission of renewal scholarship application does not entitle for the eligibility for reimbursement.
