It is a popular saying, "There are always two sides for a face!" It becomes true in most of the cases, even in the case of CBSE date sheet!
The CBSE date sheet consists of both advantages and disadvantages, but we can't be so mean, as it bestows the CBSE schools and students with more benefits and facilities. The outcome of the CBSE date sheet is always popular, besides the rumors of its outcome are more popular than it! The CBSE date sheet comes out with all the necessary features, such as, special mention about the board syllabus, i.e. it displays, whether the date sheet is for secondary, or higher secondary schools, next comes the subject names, followed with the subject codes, besides the mandatory date and time schedules of the examination that is going to be conducted. This is the pattern structure of usual date sheet that is being declared for the 10th and 12th standards, board exams and compartment exams. The board exams are usual public exams that are conducted for the 10th and 12th standards, whereas the compartment exams are conducted for the students, who have failed in the public examination. The students would be provided with 5 attempts to clear the examination provided with the constraint that the students have passed the internal assessments. But, recently the CBSE has introduced a new examination pattern, namely, the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE), according to which the 10th standard students would not be having public examination, rather they would be evaluated based on the internal assessments. Hence, probably there might be changes in the CBSE date sheet structure pattern for the CBSE 10th standards in the coming years. Anyways, the CBSE has to be praised, as it handles many responsibilities such as:
It displays the date sheet for all India entrance examinations, such as, AIEEE, and AIPMT.
Responsible for displaying the date sheet for syllabus related examinations, besides the board exams, such as "Improvement of Grades" examination. This is majorly conducted for the students, who have scored grades such as E1 and E2. There are 5 attempts provided to the students, especially to the 10th standard CBSE students, whereas the attempt is limited to one to the 9th standard students.
It also plays a major role in displaying the extracurricular activities that are in way connected to the CBSE syllabus, namely the "CBSE Heritage India Quiz". It displays the zonal schedule and detailed schedule of the quiz program.
The above listed features are considered to be some of the significant features of the CBSE, which could be categorized under the CBSE date sheet activities. If we have to look at the negative face of the CBSE date sheet, then the point to be mentioned would be the greatest influence of the public happenings in the CBSE activities, especially in providing the date sheets. For example, it has become common for the birth of rumors, regarding the release of date sheets, especially during the election time in the country. It is often said that the CBSE exams would be postponed, due to the election happenings in the country. Such rumors are making the parents, students and the school management to get panicked about the situation.
