nimcet 2011 Notification ,Admit card Download

NIMCET is a national level entrance test conducted by NITs for admission to their MCA programme.
 The examination is scheduled on 15th May 2011 from 10.00 A.M to 12.00 noon



FEE :


The fee for nimcet examination and counseling is Rs.1500 /- for OPEN/OBC and Rs. 750/- for SC/ST candidates. 

ELIGIBILITY
Students  having  60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of 12th level with Mathematics and Bachelor’s Degree of full time 3 year duration from a recognized University with any one of the following as one of the subjects

• Mathematics
• Business Mathematics
• Discrete Mathematics
• Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science
• Business Statistics
• Computational Mathematics
• Elementary Mathematics
• Elementary Statistics

NIMCET2011 examination will be of two hours and question paper will consist of 120 multiple choice questions.This contains of   four choices for each question in Mathematics, Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning, Computer Awareness and General English.

Each correctly answered question will carry FOUR marks and each wrongly answered question will lead to NEGATIVE ONE mark.
