JKC Registration Process for the Academic Year 2010 – 11

Institute for Electronic Governance (Govt of AP) is inviting Registrations/Renewals from Engineering/MCA Colleges for JKC Program 2010-11 All the colleges which are Registered / Renewed during the academic year 2009 – 10 are required to renew their registration to allow the student registrations from their institutes The institutes which were not registered with 2009 -10 are required to go for new registration to allow fresh student registrations from their institutes Last Date for the Registration / Renewals of JKC: 2nd August 2010 IEG would issue a NOTIFICATION for the student registrations from the Registered / Renewed institutes after the completion of college registration process Late fee will be imposed if Registration / Renewals are not completed by the above date It is mandatory for the institutes to Register / Renew before they can register their students
Benefits for the Registered / Renewed institutes IEG – JKC would send IT Associates to train JKC Students for two sessions/week. However, these are to be indicated well in advance to assign IT Associates from pooled resources IEG – JKC IT Associates will also train JKC Students for Certifications like IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, MES etc. However JKC Colleges have to motivate students and then schedule the training in consultation with concerned Project Manager/Program Manager/DDM. The slots will be assigned on first cum first serve basis All the registered institutes would become a part of the MOU’s between JKC and its various industrial partners Faculties of the registered institution would get chance to participate in several industrial work shops to be organized by IEG – JKC with its industrial partners Registered students of these institutes would get the opportunities to participate in the Campus Recruitment Events organizing by IEG – JKC Registered students of these institutes would get complete waiver / discounted price towards Certifications fees as applicable to ORACLE, Microsoft, IBM, MES etc. Students can participate in the Career Counseling Workshops, Seminars, Competitions etc organized by IEG – JKC or supported by JKC JKC Colleges can request for workshops on Soft Skills (1 to 2 days) twice in the Semester & IEG – JKC will organize these with help of a team from Hyderabad. However, these requests need to be given at least 2 weeks before Placement fee to selected candidates through JKC campus placements, will be imposed from 2010 – 2011 onwards Terms & Conditions of the program are subjected to change as per the decisions of the Executive Council and Governing Council from time to time
Registration / Renewal fee details:
For new Registration
o Engineering College:
Rs. 30,000/-
o MCA College: Rs.10, 000/-
For JKC – Star Status
o Rs. 60,000/- (For the institutes which are not designated with the JKC – Star Status)
For renewal
o Engineering College: Rs. 15,000/-
o MCA College: Rs. 5,000/-
o Star JKC College : Rs. 30,000/-

ANNEXURE - I Roles & Responsibilities of College:
o Collect the applications from the interested students and send the consolidated list, applications along with the total amount as Demand Draft in favor of Institute for Electronic Governance, payable at Hyderabad.
o Provide all the facilities for conducting JKC Training by IT Associates
o Support local hospitality for the visiting experts, guest trainers during the JKC Trainings.
o Collect JKC material, User name and Passwords from JKC Office and dispatch to your students and maintain student database
o See that all JKC registered students use their JKC ID and Password twice a month in order to refresh their knowledge about JKC drives and news.
o College has to send the JKC registered students to the JKC Recruitment Activities where ever IEG – JKC organize and invite the students to attend Campus Placement Tests and Workshops arranged by IEG from time to time.
o Support the various programs of IEG like Online Assessment Tests
o Tracking the attendance of students for JKC Training Activities.
o To facilitate Online Assessment for JKC students ( 1 assessment test/ semester)
Registration / Renewal Process:
o Institutes can fill the application form and send it along with the DD on or before 2nd Aug 2010
o Institutes are requested to furnish exact details pertaining to communication Address, E-mail and Contact details
o Application should be signed by the Principal along with the college seal
o DD to be drawn in favor of “Institute for Electronic Governance” payable at Hyderabad
