My Facebook accounts are all fake, says Zeenat Aman
Zeenat Aman, the famous Bollywood actress of yesteryear, has registered a complaint with the Cyber Crime Investigation Cell of the crime branch, stating that multiple fake accounts in her name had been created on Facebook (FB) by unknown persons.
shw said"I was shocked to find out that not only had this person created fake profiles but also was also interacting with others on the internet posing as me. The person is also uploading photographs and information that is available about me on the internet. I am not on any social networking sites,” Zeenat said. A CCIC official confirmed they had received the complaint.
“She had approached us a few days ago and had stated that there were multiple fake Facebook accounts in her name. She has requested her to investigate the matter and find out the motive of the impersonators,” the official said, adding that a complaint had been lodged in this regard and unknown person has been booked on charges of impersonation.
“We’re trying to find out the IP address from where the accounts havebeen created. “So far, no obscene content has been posted
on the accounts,” said the official.
