INDIA: Nationality of Chess Emperor Viswananthan Anand is Questioned by HRD Minister Kapil Sibal.

The Chess Wizard and the 3-time World Chess Champion Viswananthan Anand's Nationality is Questioned by HRD Minister Kapil Sibal. Kapil Sibal Raised a Question Whether Viswananthan Anand is indian or not? He further said possessing a Indian Citizenship Why Viswananthan Anand Spent most of his time in Spain.

International Congress Of Mathematicians(ICM) planned to felicitate Viswananthan Anand with a doctorate in Hyderabad this week. But Due to the Controversy raised by the HRD Minister Kapil Sibal, the ICM organisng commitee cancelled the function.

Later HRD Minister Kapil Sibal Expreseed his apology to Viswananthan Anand and also said that the doctorate will be awarded to Viswananthan Anand at the date of his convinence. Thus this issue is settled.
