Camera’s with 1 or 2 Megapixel are pretty decent though. You can expect a print out of 4*6 Prints. But if you want larger gown up portraits then I would recommend you to go for higher megapixel. Bring the images from your 5 megapixel camera to the lab and they will be able to great look up 4*6, 5*7 and sometimes even 6*7 print outs.
