Hottest Day in Indian Capital New Delhi Temperature (46.4) in May17, 2010|Hottest Day in Indian Capital|New Delhi|New Delhi Weather

National Capital Monday experienced its hottest day in the last eight years. 17th May Monday, the maximum temperature touching 45.4 degrees, the Indian Meteorological Department Said. In 2002 in New Delhi, the warmest temperature of 46 degrees Celsius.

“The current environmental condition and numerical weather prediction (NWP) models suggest that the system is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm and move first in a northwesterly direction towards Andhra Pradesh coast,” an India Meteorological Department said.

India Meteorological Department said : “Sea condition will be rough to very rough along and off Andhra Pradesh coast between Wednesday and fishermen should not venture into the sea during this time,”
