PBR Visvodaya Institute of Technology and Science ( PBR VITS) was established in the year 1998 at Kavali, Nellore District, Andhra Pradesh by The Visvodaya Educational Society.It was pioneered by Technocrats with varied Industrial & Educational Experience. The College is housed amidst lush green fields, in serene environment, free from pollution and conducive for the pursuit of education.

The College has a sprawling campus of over 25 acres and since its inception, the college has been striving for excellence in the technical education by imparting effective teaching- learning process, to synthesize the needs of society and global market, to evolve urban and rural youth with the emphasis on rural area, under the able guidance of Mr.D.Vidyadara kumar Reddy, Secretary & Correspondent, an Educationalist, continuously striving to meet the needs of the Industry through these educational institutions.

The College is well provided with spacious, well-designed, adequately furnished classrooms having ultra-modern facilities. All the laboratories of engineering and sciences are provided with latest equipment. The laboratories and workshops are fully equipped with the state-of-the-art facilities; particularly the Computer labs, CAD/CAM Center, Internet centre and Language Lab are value added assets to the college.

At present the courses being offered are Electronics and Communication Engineering , Computer Science Engineering , Information Technology , Electrical Engineering &Mechanical Engineering,MCA,MBA,MTech(CSE),MTech(DSCE).

Established 11 years ago, the institute is leading towards a center of excellence.
