Ramadoota Swami very famous here, Lots of people from Tamilnadu, karnataka and some parts of the country come and visit Ramadoota Swami Ashram, located at chevuru village prakasam district. Very near to kavali just 10 km away from town limits. Huge rally in kavali town every year. Ramaduta Swami ashram conducts many mega super specialty health camps and welfare events in villages of AP.
Sri Venudattatreya Swamy Ashram in chevuru near kavali, but surprisingly many people don't know about Ramadoota in Kavali. Andhra Pradesh DGP visited the Ashram last year, and many VIPs Politicians come regularly to ashram and takes the blessings of Ramadoota Swamy. In Ashram Venugopala Datathreya Swami Temple is very famous. Lots of people near by villages and towns of Prakasam and nellore Districts come and visit the God and temple here. It also has an ashram wherein unpriviliged kids get to learn.
